Course Description:
In this course, Professor Baraket bring college level Astronomy course to high school level. Professor Baraket will discuss basic concepts in astronomy and lead students to explore our space from ground up beginning with our skies and all of its phenomena.

Professor Baraket taught all physical sciences esp space and aeronautical emphasis to international STEM senior high school students in National Space Society (NSS) educational program. He is also a certified Space Ambassador for the National Space Society.
Professor Baraket has many years experience teaching secondary school level science, including general physics, earth science, atomic physics and introduction to astrophysics.

- Inner Planets Mercury, Venus
- Earth & Moon
- Mars & Saturn
- Outer Planets
- The Power of Light: A lesson on the laws, of spectral light, atoms, electrons, as they relate to thermonuclear cores of stars.
- Light the color of stars: Classifications of different types of stars using the Hertsprung Russell Diagram , and particle physics of stars
- Pulsars, Magnetars & Neutron Stars: Science involving the most dangerous objects in space, and how they influence their surroundings, composition of and detecting these objects
- The Milky Way & our Galactic Center: An explanation of different types of galaxies, what makes ours unique, an intense discussion of our galaxy ‘s composition, physics, mechanics and the mysterious object in the center that is pulling us towards it.
- Light speed and Space time: An explanation using physics, mathematics to study black holes, and how they affect time travel. Also Einstein’s theories of relativity and special relativity.
